My Story

I am a physical therapist licensed in Brazil, where I practiced for sixteen years, with postgraduate training in dermatofunctional therapy and integrative aesthetics. I am not licensed as a physical therapist in the United States, and Código Magra is not physical therapy.

From the countryside of the Amazon to the United States. From my first treatment table inside a car to my own clinic in Manaus, which I have led since 2011. In 2023 I received the Black Belt Business Award for entrepreneurship.

After my pregnancy, I lost 26 kg (about 57 lb) and built habits that helped me along the way. This is my personal experience. It is not a typical result and not a promise of results for anyone else.

Along the way I studied neuro-linguistic programming, emotional intelligence, coaching and human behavior. I completed the Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching program at Harvard Medical School, completed the Sport and Expertise Nutrition Coach course (Link Education USA, 2023), taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at UNINORTE (Centro Universitário do Norte) and wrote the books The Weight-Loss Triad and Dri’s Recipes.

Over the years, more than 2,500 women have joined my weight-management programs in Brazil. I moved to the United States to keep learning and improving my work.

Today I offer habit and wellness education and coaching to women in Brazil and in the United States.
